Dear community members, As part of our strategy to solidify and expand AMDT capabilities, with the financial support of the Trillium Foundation, we are announcing the establishment of four working committees: + Social Committee + Communications Committee + Charter and AMDT Policies Committee + Women and Youth Committee The goals and objectives of these committees will be to work on the development and execution planning of our strategy and vision of enhancing AMDT administrative capabilities, improving our support of and integration with the community at large and ensuring increased involvement of key constituencies of our community, mainly women and youth. As part of this effort, we are launching a call for volunteers to serve in the above committees. It is very critical that any committee recommendations reflect the opinions and aspirations of our broader community. The success of these committees will greatly depend on the diversity of skills and opinions around the table, so we hope that there will be a large volunteer participation in this effort Once the committees are formed, meeting schedules and venues will be determined and shared with the committee members. The results of the committee work will be shared with the community during our next AGM meeting. Dans le cadre de cette initiative, nous lançons un appel aux volontaires pour servir dans les comités ci-dessus. C’est très important que toute recommandation émanant de ces comités reflète les opinions et attentes de la communauté dans son ensemble. Le succès de ces groupes de travail dépendra, dans une grande mesure, de la diversité des expériences et opinions autour des tables. Nous espérons qu’il y aura une large participation de volontaires dans les travaux de ces comités. Après que les comités soient formés, un calendrier de travail sera établi et communiqué à tous les participants.
