24/11/08 - Meeting with Minister Ameur E-mail

Toronto - November 24, 2008

The Moroccan Association of Toronto invites the community to an open meeting with Mr Mohamed Ameur, Moroccan minister in charge of Moroccans Abroad  "ministre délégué chargé des Marocains résidants à l'étranger (MRE)".

The meeting will take place in the council chamber at North York Civic Centre, 5100 Yonge Street (see map) on Tuesday November 25th 2008 from 6h30pm to 8h30pm.

The location is accessible by North York Centre Subway station. Parking is available on Beecroft Ave.  The main entrance is located on Mel Lastman square.

The meeting is an opportunity for the minister to present the Moroccan government's program regarding the Moroccans living abroad and also an opportunity for the community to directly ask the minister questions and express their concerns.

AMDT urges the Moroccan Youth in Toronto specifically to attend this meeting to let us know and let the minister know what are their expectations from their country of origin.

The council chambers will be open starting 6pm and snacks and refreshments will be available.
